Things You’ll Need

  • 1 bar of Pure Castile Soap

  • 4 cups of water

  • Large pot

  • Cheese grater

Step 1: Grate one bar of pure Castile soap using a cheese grater.

Step 2: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil.

Once the water reaches a boil, remove it from the heat.

Step 3: Add grated Castile soap to the hot water.

Step 4: Whisk until the soap melts into the hot water.

Once the Castile soap has completely mixed with the water, set the mixture aside for at least an hour to cool.

Step 5: Stir the mixture until completely smooth.

Once the mixture has cooled completely, give it a good stir. The now liquid Castile soap will be super thick. To thin it out a bit, mix 1/2 cup of warm water and stir until completely mixed together. Store in an airtight container.

The liquid Castile soap is super concentrated. You can mix 2 tablespoons of Castile soap with 1 cup of water to make an all-purpose cleaner. Liquid Castile soap has so many uses, and it usually only takes a couple of tablespoons, so one bar turned into liquid will last a really long time.
