Eucalyptus leaves creates an organic look and also dries beautifully, although you could experiment with other types of greenery. The pre-made faux garland serves as a base for the natural greenery, helping to hold it all together.
Step 1
Adhere a strand of faux garland to your mantel. For a modern look, opt for an unconventional shape with the garland. For a traditional look, arrange the garland evenly on each end.
Use tape to play around with the shape of the garland. After you achieve the desired shape, tack the garland down using tacks, nails or removable hooks.

Add each natural greenery branch one at a time. Once you find a spot for each branch that complements the shape of the base strand, use floral wire to attach each branch to the faux garland.
